The brief
Getting around Singapore means one app for bus times, another for MRT news, a weather app, and a carpark app if you drive. Each answers part of the question.
CheckLah puts all of it on one map that opens where you are standing. There is no account and no app store: it installs straight from the browser.
What it does
Live bus arrivals
Nearby stops sorted by walking distance, live arrival times, and your favourite stops pinned to the top.
Time-to-leave alerts
Pick your bus and your usual times. CheckLah works out the walk to the stop and sends an alert when it is time to go.
MRT crowds and disruptions
How packed each station is right now, plus an alert when your line has a problem.
Route planner
Plan a trip across buses and trains, with the walking in between.
Rain radar
Live rain on the map and a two-hour forecast for your area, before you step outside.
For drivers too
Carpark lots, EV chargers, taxi stands, traffic incidents and the Woodlands and Tuas checkpoint cameras.
A closer look

The parts you do not see
The jobs that run quietly in the background, so nobody has to do them by hand.
- Bus alerts are checked every 30 seconds, and the checks pause from midnight to 5am when buses are not running.
- Train alerts are checked every minute, and carpark lots refresh every minute.
- Bus stops and routes re-sync with the official records every Sunday at 3am, so new stops appear without anyone touching the app.
- Pinned stops and settings stay on your own phone, so there is nothing to sign up for.
Next up: CheckLah Driver
An Android app that watches flights, cruises, ferries and events, and tells private-hire drivers where the next wave of passengers will land.
