The brief

Built first for a live networking event. The host wanted the room playing a quiz and, by the end of the night, a list of the people who wanted to hear more.

It now runs workshops and classrooms too. Most quiz tools stop at the leaderboard. PlayLah keeps going: the same session that runs the game collects the leads and sends the follow-up.

What it does

01

Quiz and buzzer rounds

Points for speed, a live leaderboard and a podium at the end. In buzzer rounds teams race to buzz first and the host judges.

02

Decks for a whole talk

Polls, word clouds, ratings, quiz rounds, the board and pause slides in one running order. The room joins once and follows along on one PIN.

03

Discussion board

An idea wall with photos, likes, replies and moderation. Posts in other languages are translated into English, with a toggle back to the original.

04

AI does the writing

Questions, forms and follow-up emails in 15 languages. Hosts can also connect an assistant like Claude or Codex to draft quizzes, build decks and start sessions.

05

Lead capture built in

Forms, a leads page, follow-up emails, webhooks and CSV export.

06

On the projector or in your slides

Players join by PIN or QR code. The host drives from a laptop or a phone, and any live screen can be placed in slides or a website.

The parts you do not see

The jobs that run quietly in the background, so nobody has to do them by hand.

  • Every screen in the room, from the projector to each player's phone, updates the moment someone answers.
  • Players' answers stay on our server. The screens in the room only ever get a summary.
  • The projector screen stays awake for the whole game, and photos are shrunk on the phone before they upload, so they go up quickly on busy venue Wi-Fi.

Next up: Household Ledger

The money app our own household runs on: shared wallets, budgets, loans and bills, with receipts read straight from a photo.
