The brief
Private-hire drivers lose hours circling empty, guessing when the airport, a cruise terminal or a concert will empty out. The information is public, but it is scattered across a dozen websites nobody checks from a parked car at 2am.
So we pulled it into one app that does the checking and only speaks up when a run is worth it.
What it does
Demand score
Every hub and time window gets a busyness score from flights, ferries, cruises, trains, weather and events combined.
Alerts before the wave
A push notification 30 to 45 minutes ahead of a busy window, with a last call countdown and alerts when you arrive.
Surge map
Drivers drop surge pins that everyone else sees live.
Checkpoint cameras
Live Woodlands and JB checkpoint cameras, for drivers who cross.
Airport drop-off doors
Search an airline or flight number and see which terminal and which door to drop the passenger at.
Get paid in the car
Tap to Pay card payments through Stripe, PayNow QR codes and digital receipts.
The parts you do not see
The jobs that run quietly in the background, so nobody has to do them by hand.
- 13 automatic jobs keep checking flight, ferry, cruise, train, weather and event schedules, so drivers never have to.
- New drivers get a short run of tips by email over their first two weeks, timed to arrive at 8am.
- Everything Google Play asks of an app is handled: what data is collected, deleting your account from the app or the website, and the privacy and terms pages.
- Your settings follow you to a new phone.
